Austin Beer Week is here again!
Seven Ten glorious days celebrating the craft beer community of Austin. It’s hard to believe this is my third preview. You can check out the posts from 2013 and 2014,I didn’t you wrong. Here are my picks for 2015:
Friday, October 23
Craft Pride | 5pm | (512) 2015 Whiskey Barrel Aged Double Pecan Release Party. You’re already at Craft Pride and it probably took you 30 minutes to find a parking spot on Rainey…you might as well stick around for the official opening ceremony.
Craft Pride | 6pm | The Opening Ceremony of Austin Beer Week, and celebratory toast. Craft Pride is rolling out some rare and cellared brews.
Saturday, October 24
*UPDATE* Both events have been rescheduled due to the impending deluge and flooding. Be safe and stay home, everyone.
(512) Brewing Co | 12 pm | 7th Anniversary Jam, This party is a cornerstone event of Austin Beer week, in my opinion, and my favorite brewery birthday bash. (512) really has outdone themselves this year, more firkins, more nitro taps, more everything!
*This event has been rescheduled to 11/14 due to inclement weather.
We have decided to reschedule the 7th anniversary party for Saturday, Nov 14th due to the flash flood watch issued for our area.

*UPDATE* Draught House | 1 pm | 47th anniversary party. This Austin institution always celebrates their anniversary in style. The tap list has yet to be released, when it does it will certainly be newsworthy. This year’s party includes a pig roast.
*This event has been rescheduled to 11/7 due to inclement weather.
We are moving our 47th Anniversary Party to Saturday, 11/7, due to forecast of 100% chance of rain this Saturday!

The annual dilemma, the Sofie’s Choice of Austin Beer Week, these are my two favorite events.
I would love to see them take place on different days in the future. I made this happen with my mind. I’ve done both before, it’s possible, but I would recommend an Uber. I haven’t missed a (512) birthday bash yet, you’ll will find me there.
